Our Tokyo office delivered a remote lecture to Takebe Elementary School (Okayama Pref.) on December 8, 2022
Sony Music Group (Japan) explores the potential of entertainment to provide educational support for children, who will shape the future.
On December 8, 2022, we delivered an online remote lecture from our Tokyo office to Takebe Elementary School, located in Okayama Prefecture, where 21 sixth graders attended.
Through our remote lecture program, the students have the opportunity to learn how the music is produced, and are assigned to develop the idea for producing “Kokoro Harete,” a song by Kana Adachi from Sony Music Artists. The small producers brainstorm on how to reach the target audience, taglines and costumes, and draw the plan on paper.
On the day of the remote lecture, the sixth graders presented their ideas to our staff engaged in artist management, who subsequently highlighted the good points of their proposals and gave them some advice.
Ideas presented by children for producing “Kokoro Harete” by Kana Adachi
Following the presentations by five groups on a variety of plans to produce the song, we had a Q&A session, where children asked many questions such as: “Can you please let me know about the animation business of Sony Music Group?” and “How are music videos produced?” Their eagerness showed that the short lecture was very productive for children and our staff alike.
