Our employees joined Chiyoda-ku Collective Cleanup Day on November 7, 2022

Employees of Sony Music Group (Japan) participated in Chiyoda-ku Collective Cleanup Day, which was established based on the Municipal Ordinance for Safe and Adequate Living Environment of Chiyoda-ku, where the group’s headquarters is located.
After gathering early, they carefully looked for trash on the roadside where employees walk while commuting as well as in the shrubs along the street and collected empty cans and plastic bottles, cigarette butts, face masks, etc.
They found many cigarette butts on the sidewalks along roads with heavy traffic, where empty cans and plastic bottles and other plastic waste had been thrown away into the shrubs. The participants were shocked by the amount of trash they collected while feeling the need to review their own everyday behavior.
Sony Music Group (Japan) will continue to join cleanups regularly and contribute to the beautification of the local environment.

It was a crisp autumn morning under a clear sky—a perfect day for a cleanup. The weather helped participants collect trash not just near the office, but in a much wider area. As a result, we collected a large amount of trash and, I hope, could contribute to local beautification to the best of our ability.
